He's like you being 5 year on your job...there are certain things that after a while you can do in your sleep... they are routine

McVay still has to roll Goff out just to get him to settle down and to make plays to boost his confidence ... regardless if the defense is forcing that to happen or not
Yeah, those rollouts and quickie, one read passes were nice for his completion % but I feared they were a bit of a mirage in terms of how well Goff was actually playing. Tough defenses seem to take that stuff away and Goff STILL doesn't look comfortable with pressure and going off script. He looks very rushed and uncomfortable when things get messy in the backfield. Maybe McVay isn't helping Goff with the play calling but at best, IMO, it's equal parts Goff and equal parts McVay.
