I have been saying for 2 years the value of Cooks and others dismissed how he helped Kupp specifically
However, what I have seen is McVay has schemed the Wrs they have open. Heck the SF game I just can't get out of my head Kupp/Goff missing on that easy TD deep shot. Against the Skins the Rams got single coverage on a deep shot to Woods but he dropped it in the rain. Of course earlier in that same game they schemed him open on a 56 yard TD. Last week Goff flat missed Woods on what would have been a 50 yard TD
So for me I think the Rams are not executing in the pass game the way they can... the way we have seen them do previously. They have missed a lot
Look at the two shots to Reynolds the last two weeks. One was a TD on a great grab by Reynolds after the throw allowed the db back into the play. Last week against the Bears they went right back to the same play but another throw that caused Reynolds to slow down allowed the DB to catch up and actually knock Reynolds down
IMO Goff is having trouble vacillating back and forth in his rhythm between the quick pass game and more traditional "Rams" pass game he's been executing for 4 years now
Why he can't do both more seemlessly I have no clue
