the rivalry is one we all know but it just doesn't hold the weight of say Skins v Cowboys, Cheifs v Raiders or Steelers v Ravens which is really current
As much as these teams have won they never seem to be winning at the same time and when they were in the 80s the Rams were chasing them
Don't get me wrong its definitely a rivalry but think about how the 49ers and Cowboys had that rivalry in the 90s. A perfect example is the SNF game here come the Rams flying high and the 49ers are clearly in trouble and shell of last years SB team and with mind-numbing injuries
I'd much rather the Rams be 4-1 and the 49ers being 5-0 and the Rams going in there and kicking their a$s on national TV
