Whichever application you open on an Apple computer the name of the Application, (and it's menus), are displayed at the very top of the screen. NOT part of the open application itself which is in a window.
At the top of your screen, and I mean the VERY top... at the far left you'll see an Apple... just to the right you'll see the name of the current application you're using. So if you have Safari clicked then you'll see an APPLE and then the name SAFARI... that's what you click... BUT....
With an Apple computer you have the option to 'hide' the menu bar... IF you have that setting set to work that way then you'll have to move the cursor to the VERY TOP of the computer screen before you'll see the MENU BAR.
Here's a screenshot of my screen with a green oval around SAFARI

Didn’t work, Jimmy. I have an iPad pro, don’t know if that’s the problem. It has the latest iOS updates, btw.
If I could somehow get that menu bar to appear, I’m sure that I could complete the process, but it’s now a Catch-22.
My finger is my cursor, of course.
When I place my finger at the very top of the screen, nothing happens. If I drag my finger down from the top, my lock screen picture drops down.
I‘ve googled for help, but their videos behave differently than my iPad does, or vice versa.
I’m frustrated, but I’ll get over it.
