We signed this guy for 10mil to be a starter. I really don't know all the ILBs and outs of his health. But, Snead and McVay do. If he couldn't cone back they would've come up with an injury settlement and moved on. Since they've worked hard to work around his illness they must think it's very fixable and his impact for the team is worth the wait.
I really hope he can play. He was a big part of that Alabama defense that was so impressive and we could absolutely use another big athlete in the middle of our DL. The kid from Rutgers is an okay rotational guy but we need a starting NT to free up AD and Brock.
