That same article says that Robinson had a heart condition, not a heart defect. And although Robinson's specific condition hasn't been revealed, a second article offers this hopeful information: "A very wide range of medication is available for the majority of heart conditions." [

So ... if Robinson had a heart condition that was successfully treated by one of the many medications available to treat heart conditions, perhaps his condition has improved to the point that he can safely play football?
