yeah, Fowler is the guy I miss...most....

Fowler was really active rushing the passer...and complimented AD very well off the edge. We REALLY need to draft or have one of our young-ins rise up to become that type of complimentary player...OR AD will be squandered/wasted on passing downs - like SJ(rb) was on offense during the lean yrs.

The best thing is that those type of EDGE players and Littleton/Patrick Queen 225lbs WLBs can be found pretty readily in the draft. imo

LT(OL depth & starting talent) and WLB are our biggest needs so far going into next year's draft. imo

Kiser is a thumper...and he's made more plays than I thought he would due to his foot speed which leaves no room for margin for him. I get nervous when Kiser is covering the RBs and think more OCs will target/isolate Kiser and take advantage of him outside the 2-tackle box. we'll see. But what Kiser DOES give is one big wallop when he hits you...he's our most physical player outside AD and Fuller. btw - Fuller is around EVERY play I'm noticing....at the bottom of the pile or the guy hitting the WR. Fuller is just BALLIN right now. I'm stunned we got that kind of quality starter in the 6th round and the kid is STARTING from Game 1 of his career. How special and unique is that?!! Is AD the last rookie starter we had besides Goff??? It's really really rare.
And we have him locked up cheap for 4 more yrs. WOW. That's like a 1st round pick at FS.


And that's not even counting the other 4 players we got mid-rounds (2nd - 4th) - Akers, VJ, Burgess & Lewis....and Hig-Beast clone - TE Hopkins.
Hopkins will prolly take longest to develop as is usual with TEs....Hopkins moves/plays sooo much like Higbee and with really natural hands.

But Fuller is the Crown Jewel of the draft 2 games in. imo
