Other than on my birthday in 2003 when RAMbeau and I watched the Bengals-Rams game at Poor Richards and I got totally snockered, I think there were only about 20-30 people in the restaurant and I was the loudest thing in there, I was feeling NO pain, I was so lit. Rams won, by the way, 27-10. I haven't been to a sports bar since then to watch a football game. I've either watched the Rams in person or on tv at home.
However, the last time I went to a sports bar to watch a game was at Poor Richards which is a little family restaurant with about 8 tv screens about a mile from my house. It used to be a very popular place to eat and hang out in back in the day. It was 2006 and we went there twice in one week to watch the St Louis Cardinals play the Detroit Tigers in the World Series. It was great fun to be in the midst of 200 other fans all eating, drinking, cheering and whooping it up for the Cardinals. Then when the Cards won the series in game 5, the place went absolutely nuts. It was fun to be in the middle of it and it was one of the most memorable sports experiences of my life, I have to say.
