Since TFL is not an official NFL stat it seems like sites do whatever they want. Some say a sack is a TFL and others don't. ESPN, for example, does not count them according to this ( [
www.espn.com] ) which says “TLOSS - Tackles for Loss (Does not include Sacks)”
It looks like teamranking.com does not include sacks in TFL either since some players have more sacks that TFLs (e.g., Chandler Jones has 19 sacks but only 11 TFLs).
