This from that same article: "If a player on the active/NFI list is still injured or ill by the final roster cutdown date, they can be placed on the reserve/non-football injury or reserve/non-football illness lists and not count towards the 53-man roster limit. "
It seems to be saying that Robinson could be removed from the NFI list and placed on the final 53. Obviously the Rams would do this if Robinson is deemed fit to play before the final cutdown, but I wonder if they would include him in the final 53 if they thought he would be ready to play say by week 4 and just make him inactice the first 3 weeks?
