You both make good points- (1) if the coaches see him as one of the two best OGs then that's what it is. Though it's also very early and they are likely still trying various combinations. But also (2) he was not very good at LG last year and seems much more natural at tackle.
My assumption had been that the 6th man would be whichever of Edwards, Evans and Corbett did not win a starting OG spot with Noteboom the 7th OL (swing tackle). Maybe that still happens. Who knows though.
