I did not take from your original statement AT ALL that YOU were saying he regressed. Admittedly, I referred back to your recent debate with Speed.. are you saying I should have "KNOWN" to do otherwise? I think that a stretch.. like a Marvel Comic stretch. BUT.. I accept you at your word.
And WOW is that interesting.. I don't think he regressed at ALL. BUT.. I do NOT mean that to be confrontative... rather... I think you're saying because of circumstances he had a set-back... and in that sense, yeah, I can see that... don't agree however.
got a bit of a smile over this: "Which you're not supposed to respond to by saying "who said it was" because I am not arguing with anybody, just expressing some of my takes on things."... didn't you just tell me there are are no rules?
That IS being confrontative, but I think in a friendly manner.
I don't see this as a big issue, ZN.. so I'm out. - JamesJM
I do think he regressed, but then I was saying it like "and as regressions go it wasn't that bad, which promises a great rebound."
As for previous discussion, I never argued with anyone that he did not regress. I debated about WHY. (Not to repeat those discussions cause they're not relevant here but I did not put it all on the qb...but that's just when it comes to WHY.)
Did he regress? Well...yeah! Compared to 2018, his completion percentage went down, his TD percentage went down, his INT percentage went up a bit, his YPA went down, his qb rating went down.
Yeah in former debates (which have nothing to do with what I was saying here) I debated WHY he regressed.
Here, I wasn't talking about that. I was saying yeah he regressed, but in the middle of it he still showed good traits, so I can't wait for the rebound.
In terms of your comment on who said it was.....I didn't follow that. That was a dig on my part. It was aimed at you looking for disagreements with your consensus post when there were none. I was getting in a dig at looking for things that are not there. It wasn't UNfriendly but it was a dig.
