they sure do shine
))))
Correct, they do shine.
Shinning was never in doubt and never a negative for those that don't like the new look.
The neutered "horn" is the problem.
I used to hate the fact they messed with the old school horns, but I have to admit this helmet is lit....
It's not a "neutered" horn, it's actually the horn of a dominant ram, typically about 7-10 years old....the older rams have the curled horns.
here is a picture of the "dominant" ram

You are correct, Rampage2K. The half curl, or letter C type of horn is typical of a Ram horn around 7-10 years old.
I used to point this out to people in posts right around the time of the unavailing of the rebrand.
To me, it still doesn't account for the fact that they didnt have to do anything with the horns to try to improve them. There was too much time (two years) to sit around and think about tinkering with them and they finally did. Our old horn was universally loved and respected as an iconic brand.
Even though there IS logic behind the half curl horn, it's still considered a flawed experiment because people are confused by the 3D aspect that works for some and doesnt for others. Also, our helmets look more like the Chargers than Rams these days. Without knowing some biological facts about what a Rams horn looks like at 7-10, one could be totally confused by the redesign of the horn. It flat out looks closely to a letter C.
Anyway, there are issues with the horn now, and it never had to be changed. That's why I said the neutered horn is the focal point of those who the hate the new helmet, not the shiny blue color which I actually like very much.
