Jefferson/Reynolds should easily be more effective than the ‘19 version of Cooks.
I'll wait and reserve judgement on this, if you don't mind.
Even though Cooks and Goff didn't hook-up as often as I'd like to see last season, that doesn't mean that Cooks wasn't doing an effective job of taking the top off the defense.
Jefferson is an unknown commodity that regard and I didn't notice any more effectiveness out of Reynolds when Cooks was out. Again, that's not an indictment on him (Reynolds) because he may have been doing his job and it's just that he and Goff couldn't connect.
But I haven't seen anything suggesting that a Jefferson/Reynolds combo "should easily be more effective."
