There are different tests and they vary in their reliability. The test I took was , according to my personal physician, the most reliable, and it took a week for the results. Moreover, I had symptoms, which happens to be the only reason, at least here in wealthy Orange County, where they will test you-at least using the "good" and reliable test. Mine was confirmed by my physician who then ordered the test, much like a prescription. I have no idea what you are talking about as far as free testing to anyone who wants it, seven days a week, at any time, with immediate results. Not saying it doesn't exist just that I'm unaware of it.
I never said there was immediate results, but there is a free testing site here in Temecula that doesn't require you to have symptoms....results take about 3-5 days
The NFL has the money to afford rapid testing for their employees, most companies and cities don't have that luxury....that's why
My 18 year old son had a sore throat and congestion a couple weeks ago so we took him to a urgent care just to be safe and they tested him....a week later he got a positive test result last Wednesday
We quarantined him as soon as he was sick just to be safe luckily and none of the rest of my family (wife, daughter and me) got sick, but all of us have been staying at home since and wife and daughter tested the other day at the free test site....I have to test this Tuesday at my work. If I test negative I will be able to return to work since I haven't been exposed to him since he was sick on June 30th
In a weird way I'm kinda hoping I test positive and one of the lucky ones who are asymptotic just so I can get it over with and quit worrying about getting it every day I go to work.....
My son is doing good and has no real symtoms anymore, but we are still being safe and keeping him quarantined and re-testing him on Monday
