Here's why I doubt they bring back Bortles

They won't bring back Bortles because he didn't show much in the opportunities he was given.
But also because even at vet's minimum, he'd cost double of Wolford. Bortles at minimum wage = 2 young players for the back of the roster.

Further, unless the Rams see themselves as Super Bowl contenders, they don't need a guy like Bortles. I think they signed him last year because they saw themselves as Super Bowl candidates. Anything can happen, but I don't see the Rams as a Super Bowl team until 2021 season.
