Yeah, not an essential cog by any means. But if he's a guy you play 15-16 snaps/game in run situations, well, you need those guys. Not all that different from the assumption about Kiser at ILB who's probably a 25 snaps/game guy. Though I realize a lot is TBD about Staley's defense.
