Based on 50+ years of following the Rams, I have some opinions about that list. Overall, the order looks pretty good to me. The 1967 team was special. That is one of the Rams teams that should have gone to the Super Bowl. I would put the 1999 team at the top of the list. That team exploded onto the scene with an unstoppable offense. The 1973 team was also special, and it belongs near the top of the list. That team had good players throughout the offense and lots of great players on defense. I would put the 2017 team in the top five. That team also exploded onto the scene with a prolific offense. They really blew it by pulling back on the throttle late in the season. That team was the best chance since 2001 for the Rams to win the Super Bowl. The 1989 team is ranked about where it belongs. There were some good memories from that season, but none of the 1980s Rams teams came close to being a true contender.
