They are apparently banking on a healthy Havenstein returning to form and having Evans, Edwards and Corbett have a three-way competition for the two OG spots and Noteboom, Allen and Anchrum for added depth.

That all said...could Havenstein be traded in August if someone came calling? Maybe....

On your last bit, the maybe--I dunno. I know that's not your main point, but just to look at it--they're tight to the cap, still have to pay their rookies, and cutting or trading Hav in 2020 would cost them 2.25 M against the cap. (It would also mean 6.24 M in dead money). Sounds to me more like what you said about how it looks like they are banking on Hav in 2020.

I also agree that it doesn't look like there was any buzz out there about trading him. If nothing else I assume one of the Rams reporters would have caught that if it were out there.
