I'm ok with it. The new DC wanted to upgrade the edges first and he was an option there round 3. Some risk is fine I think in a draft class and he's the only one I see that way. Rest of these guys look like talented fits and good guys too.

Good news is .....he won't be
3rd round picks bust all the time. I believe the hit rate is somewhere between 30% to 35%. It seems to me what they're saying is, since statistically it's more likely that the pick won't work out, may as well swing for the fences.
Yeah, it's common for many draftees to bust.....But I wouldn't be ok with it. The way the Rams are built right now with a very top heavy roster we need to hit on our top four picks more than most teams right now.
Lewis pick was a no brainer at 84 due to the need and the value.... Rams have had some pretty good success with our 3-4 rounders and need for that to continue
