Well, to be fair, Blythe was playing hurt because there was no other legit options left at C.

Blythe had surgery on BOTH shoulders post season. Played through an ankle injury as well, although I’m not sure if that required surgery. At any rate the guy was a medical mess but did his best, anyway.

Think about that as you criticize his play at C.

FYI: #Rams C Austin Blythe underwent successful clean-up surgery on both shoulders this week. Blythe played through a nagging ankle injury throughout season & made a successful transition from G to C at the midway point to help solidify a Rams o-line that finished season strong.
