All due respect, but you and max should read the actual words written before commenting.
I just want to know where he's reporting from. Is he in LA? Does he have any connections to any players, coaches, or press credentials? Does he ever go to any press conferences or practices? Or is he some random guy spewing his own flavor of hogwash?
Can you answer any of these questions?
Da Silva is the Ramswire/USA Today assigned Ram beat writer and has been for quite some time. There are only 32 such for each of the NFL teams combined.
I know nothing of his age, sexual preferences, religion, or most anything else of a personal nature. Hell, I don’t recall ever even seeing his picture.
But he sure seems well connected to the Rams and I find his articles generally interesting, educational, and worth sharing.
Others disagreeIng with his opinions is perfectly fine by me. But to misquote what he wrote in black and white, or to personally attack (As R2K did) is out of bounds, IMO.
You seem to think this is some sort of attack on you for posting this.... it's not. You don't need to defend this guy or this article
Most of us are just calling bullshT on his grand assumptions that he makes with these takes...he's been critical of the Rams draft throughout this entire draft because he thinks we should have drafted OL
He is not considered an insider at all...most of his articles are about stuff he gets from quotes from other interviews and articles by others. I don't think saying he sounds ignorant is attacking him, just read that article again and tell me if you really think any of it makes much sense outside of his thoughts on Burgess
