I disagree with many of his takes, but the guy dies crank out a lot of Rams stories. I read them all. Okay, so this article reiterated why the Rams didn't draft a ton of OL. Seems like Kiser is going to be in the middle a lot and the rest of the D will be blitzing or covering.
Glad so many like the Burgess kid and I really like Long. Our secondary should be terrific. Our DL looks great. And we have the makings of a LB crew. Floyd should be an outstanding 1 year starter outside. Obo, Ekuban and Lewis should be good outside. Kiser they like at MLB.
I don't necessarily agree that because we got a TE that we will let Everett leave. If he breaks out then maybe we find a way to pay him. Same for Reynolds. Maybe Jefferson can replace him, but that doesn't mean he's a goner.
He's a Ram until he isn't. It's one thing to suggest that we went WR and TE because our depth could disappear as these contracts end, but not write he's gone. Because he's not, yet. Anyway, it is true that every team has major turnover to their squad each season and the Rams try to draft ahead. That's good roster management. The other benefit is to create competition at those positions.
Akers will battle Hendu, Jefferson will battle Reynolds and Everett will take on the kid from Perdue. Hopefully it will raise all their games and we can have a tremendous offense this year.
