they were constantly booting Goff... more than any other game last year
its exactly what other teams did down the stretch against the Niners .... its what Andy Reid had Mahomes doing all game in the SB
I don't know if the 49ers just didn't think the Rams would or could do that with Goff but IMO they were caught totally off guard by not only the Rams doing it but how effective it was. That was easily one of Goff's best performances of the year.
The weird and of course frustrating part about it is the Rams offense and Goff played so poorly the week before in Dallas
People always say yeah but what about SF and I always follow it up and say yeah but what about Dallas the week before? <shrug>
