There was an interview of Whit posted recently where he talked about the holding. His claim is he used a blocking technique that some refs saw as holding (as opposed to guys blowing by him that he had to hold on to in order to save Goff's life). He claims that he will modify that technique this season so it complies with league guidelines.
If what he claims is true and if he is able to successfully make changes then the holding calls should drop this year. As with a lot of things ... we'll see.
