Are you impressed with their offensive line?
Are you impressed that they might not be able to keep free agent Cooper Kupp on the team next year?
Are you impressed that we are so salary strapped that we couldn't sign a top free agent?
Are you impressed that we no longer have Gurley, Fowler, Robey-Coleman & Littleton on our roster?
Well, aren’t you just a ray of sunshine this morning, droopy?
Where to start?
1. I’m impressed by this coaching staff and respect their judgement re Ram OL status far more than any layman internet poster, including myself. They felt that any OL draft help was either beyond their reach OR would be unlikely to beat out their current starters. The value was in other positions and they acted accordingly. Can;t fault them for that.
2. I’m certain that the Rams can and will be able to extend Kupp next year, unless he’s gonna be Completely unreasonable about his salary demands. Thanks, in part, to difficult decisions made re Gurley and Cooks this year.
3. Cap moves to improve future flexibility have already been made. BTW, talented teams tend to always be up against the cap, and the Rams are a very talented team. We should be prepared to be up against the cap for the foreseeable future.
4. Gurley, Fowler, Cooks, NRC, and Littleton either had issues with health, and/or cap cost or scheme fit. All have been discussed ad infinitum elsewhere.
Rams must deal with real world roster and cap limitations as they attempt to get back to the SB. Honestly? Yeah, I think they’re doing the best that could be expected under the circumstances.
