If I remember correctly, a team has to have enough salary cap room to cover their draft picks.
According to the sites, we're $5-$6 million over the cap, which means we need to clear about $10 million before (I'm assuming) Friday night.

Should we be expecting some sort of move within the next 24-48 hours? Trading Havenstein (for instance) would only net us around $6 million.

I read somewhere that the Ram rookie cap hit us only gonna be about $1.6M this year due to lack of a 1st.

Not sure about the total, but yes, it's much cheaper when you're not picking until 52
