What I would really like to see...
2a: Aiyuk is fine. Higgins or Mims would be too, although it's just hard to imagine guys with their size and skill sliding to 50s. Raegor would be fine as well. This gets the WR over with and tbh even though the wideout depth is very good the guys in this range who might make it to us are far better fits than that next group or two. But of course we gotta get lucky so who knows.
2b & 3a: Edge & Center in some combination. I like guys like Uche in round 2, also think Anae is going earlier than his measurables suggest due to his Senior Bowl week. There's edge guys and there's also Centers who actually HELP us here. Going Center after let's say Biadasz is off the board is a waste of a pick IMO. I don't like that kid (center) from Washington so I agree it makes sense the Rams will draft him lol. But a slide down from 2b makes sense if they're thinking what I'm thinking in this range.
3b & 4: RB and ILB in some combination. Same deal as above, where I like this range for both.
Random thoughts...
* IMO if they get a guy like Uche who can be moved around a bit, it really helps with ILB as well as Edge. This is why I like him so much just a crazy good fit for us. Also irt this is that Fangio asks his OLBs to drop more than a guy like Wade does. So even in the OLB duties having a guy who is good in space is an advantage for when Staley asks them to drop underneath slot routes. Not to mention a front seven addition that can track and tackle well in space with Wilson and Murray in our division.
* I would not rule out the Rams moving up for a LT. It's not hard to see them doing it in fact. Question is how fast do those top OTs go off the board. But a LT of the future is the only thing I would move up for.
* Re: the ILBs I expect guys who can fill hard vs the run as the priority. That said they can't be poor in space though. Gotta drop well and react/read well in zone, the ones who struggle with that probably won't be prioritized.
* Oh and I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a corner if it's BPA. The reason for this is our DBs were quite bad in zone last season, and call me a jerk but I'm not too sold on our CB2. It's definitely a lesser need compared to the others but it's an area they can improve if the quality is there.
* Last but not least I still think they look Kicker in round 6 if one is there. Why? Well, why not lol.
