Route running is the most important element of being a wideout, right ahead of hands and explosiveness (YAC, burst in open field, elusiveness, etc). So rack and stack your best athletes to the top, but just make sure the guys up top are good route technicians.

And btw this goes back to McVay in this draft needing one of these guys to replace Cooks. I am certain that whoever they pick has to have the type of movement and body control at the very least that leads to great route running. Hopefully the pick will have good speed for the 9s and all, but not at the expense of route running.
