Thanks for the feedback SoCal.
With regards to our Edge needs, like I said, we are drafting for 21 not 20. Right now we have 5 Edge Defenders but in 21 our two most experienced will be free agents and I doubt if we will be in a position to re-sign them. With the Rams paying so many big stars then we need to have a constant conveyor belt of production coming through. If we do draft Greenard then I think the plan will be to let him sit out most of the season and let him learn, if he does force his way onto the field then that would be a bonus.
I agree with the PK need 100% and that is the position that worries me the most. I am convinced that Blankenship would be an ideal fit for us, he has a cult image and I am sure that the Rams Marketing Dept. are salivating at the thought of campaign they could run with him on the team.
Again, I do agree with you on the QB need I just don't think it is something we will address in the draft, maybe we pickup a UDFA prospect to develop but more likely we pick up someone cheap in free agency, there should be a few kicking about and as time runs on their demands will come down. Wouldn't be surprised if we eventually take Bortles back.
LT has plenty of depth in my opinion, Whitworth, Noteboom, Evans, Edwards and Corbett have all played tackle and Hav's could move across to the left if necessary. None of those would be ideal but I just don't think you can carry much more than that.
I agree about RB, I am cool with Hendo, like you say he played sparingly but I think that was always the plan. TG was no. 1 and Brown was 2. Hendo was supposed to sit and learn from those guys. I think he showed enough potential to say that he can atleast compete for RB1. Brown is still a solid RB who can certainly take some of the load and if we can take Dillon he can compete with Hendo and Brown for snaps and then compete with Hendo for No. 1 in 21. Not convinced about Kelly so if we can get another option like Javon Leake either late or as a UDFA then that would be a bonus.
