Im not trying to bash him....this time. Some passers throw great deep balls, others do not. I always thought the best deep passers put a lot of air under it and lets the receiver go get it. Goff on the other hand fires more line drive type passes which are much harder to complete. You really have to be perfect, and that is asking a lot. When you connect it looks beautiful, but more often than not, its incomplete. Goff seems much more comfortable throwing short mid round crossing passes to Kupp and Woods who excel at separating. I guess you still need a deep wr who can take top off a D just to keep the other guys open underneath....but a speed wr is not what Goff relies upon.

I do fully expect the rams to draft a wr in rd 2 now...its their mojo....flashy skill positions. Can you imagine a RB and WR in rd 2? I can.

  yes and it shows in the numbers for 2018, when the OL was more coherent
