Part of me believes if there is only 1 RB drafted in the first round, then there is a good possibility that one of the other 2 are there at 52. And when I look at players and teams and their needs, the Dolphins are the only team that makes sense with their 3 picks taking a RB in round 1. So do they like Swift or Taylor? After that it might take a team willing to trade back into the first for a RB to get the 5th year option.
the Rams won't trade into the first round due to a lack of draft capital and the shear amount of needs. At worst maybe around 44. I could see RB #2 or #3 taken at the Bucs pick at 45. They have a hole there and you want a RB to take some pressure off Brady. If 2 RBs have been taken by pick 43, and the Rams really want one they would need to move to 44. So 8 spots.
Again, this is all hypothetical on the fact that I know what I'm talking about. And like i said in another post. I just don't follow the other NFL teams enough. I love my college football and the Rams. i have little to no interest in watching the bengals playing the Dolphins. lol
I think the real question should be, if one of the top 3 backs are on the board at 52, do the Rams take him or trade back, giving up that opportunity?
