Well done! Thanks! I feel like their draft could end up looking something like that. I largely agree with the positional need assessment except I would add FS as being a priority.
Who really knows where all these players will actually go but from the many mock draft simulations I've been doing, there are several consistent things I'm seeing in relation to your draft.
1) Brooks is almost always available at 104. Don't know why but 60 may be early for him.
Everything I have read on him leads me to believe there are 2 trains of thought on him, 1 is that he has range, can cover and most importantly, has instincts. Those teams are all over him early as an ILB. The other train of thought is that he lacks instincts and may not be great in coverage and would take him as a WILL. Those teams have him in the 3rd round. I am of the opinion of when you watch him. he sees whats in front of him and knifes his way to the ball. You just don't rack up 8 million tackles by blind luck on that poor of a defense. He HAS to have instincts IMO.
2) Biadasz is usually drafted in the 3rd but is almost always gone by 104. I have a suspicion we'd need a slight trade up for him. Quite possible. And if they like him they will move around.
3) One of the top RBs seems to almost always fall to 52 and often to 84. IF the Rams want a top RB - and I'm not sure of that myself - they may have great opportunity...that is if the simulators portend the way things will play out. If I were the Rams, I'd target Dobbins 1st and Taylor 2nd and if they fall to 52 I take one, if they don't, I trade back. Simple as that. The Rams need more then Hendo and a always broken JAG in Brown or even with the best OL in history they won't do anything.
If the Rams like those guys though, I'm sure they'll target them and move up and down as necessary to get them. I feel this draft will look very similar to last year when they traded down and then up on occasion.
You mentioned Snead's emphasis on the Senior Bowl. Who are the Senior Bowl players this year that you suspect the Rams will be very interested in?
WRs Van Jefferson and Denzel Mims had monster practice weeks, and Jefferson is a smart, savvy route runner that can get open, so you know Snead will like him. Mims is unlike anything the Rams have so I bet he would also be on their radar
TE Josiah Duguara had a great week and not only catching hte ball. Good blocker. Could be a nice move piece for the Rams revamped offense.
Jonathan Greenard had a bigtime week and showed off everything in his toolbox as an Edge.
LB Josh Uche could be a ILB/OLB for the Rams, had a good week and a heck of a game.
S/LB Jeremy Chinn put on a show all week as well and has played CB, LB, and S in college. He could be a real movable piece NFL teams covet.
Zack Baun is another Edge that showed out, but he is prolly gone before the Rams pick.
Kyle Duggar is a small school safety that had himself a week.
Edge Terrell lewis had a good practice or 2.
RBs Benjamin and Gibson looked pretty good as well.
Bradley Anae was unstoppable in the game.
OC Hennessy was the only guy that could stone Kinlaw. No one else did, ever.
Jonah Jackson is on the list for me. I'm wondering who else?
