Experts say a vaccine is required to really ward off this virus, and that won't be available until early next year at the earliest. In the meantime, I don't see any possible way that players enclosed in a locker room, before and after practice, won't contribute to spreading the disease. There would be two injury reports, the normal one and a Covid-19 one. Also, the league won't condone fans attending games that would also spread the disease. I hate to be so negative, but life as we know it won't return until 2021. This is my humble opinion, and I would love to be wrong, but the facts point to no NFL until 2021.
I don't want to be negative either, but based on a lot of info I have gathered from a lot of different fronts, it's hard for me to believe that there will be a baseball, football or basketball season in 2020. College or pro. I could be wrong of course, but the virus is still ascending. Can you imagine if they resumed prematurely and ONE player on any team got the virus? You saw how fast they shut down the NBA.
IF I'm right, here's another thing to imagine. Next year's draft with no 2020 college football season. Tougher to scout that. And what's the draft order? Lottery? Talk about a crap shoot!
