His signing in itself wasn't so bad, as edge types are expensive. But the problem is he doesn't move the needle much, and ate $10M that could have been used for someone who can actually UPGRADE the roster.

IMO he was a "make the new guy feel better about our poor LB corps" move. Makes us better vs the run, sure, but that's a pricey run upgrade.
