But the idea that teams in high tax states should have the cap adjusted and be able to pay more? No way. What's next? Adjustment for Cost of Living? No doubt this is exactly what those states are counting on; that employers pay their employees more so that the state can confiscate more.
Teams located in high tax states can move if they think it's a problem. Don't think for a second that this didn't play a role in the Raiders moving to Nevada. Besides, these states and their politicians that have created these destructive tax systems need to be exposed for what it causes, and what better than pro athletes choosing to work for teams whose locations don't subject their players and employees to draconian taxation?
