folks are talkin about for Fowler, Brockers, Littleton, etc are for 2021....so, it's not silly for me to talk of that at all. Many are posting about our FA and the glory of the comp picks we will get for losing these players. I'm not talking about anything too far in the future that isn't being discussed now anyway.
As for the 2 players themselves:
Fowler was a great pressure player(PFF highly rated iirc) for us last year besides having a career in sacks and was the only threat besides AD.
As for Littleton? Remember, saying his tackling was poor is kinda like saying a player's not perfect. Littleton covered TEs, RBs, WRs like the best of them and MADE PLAYS CONSTANTLY for this defense. Can someone else do that & more? I hope so....but 12m/yr was not much to keep that kid as opposed to Whit at 40yrs old at LT. Sorry, but there's no way I made the Littleton for Whit trade-off.
