If that is accurate then the Rams got Fowler for a year and a half for a 5th round pick.
The 3rd they gave up for Fowler was a 2019 comp pick so they essentially move back 2 years on their ability to use that pick.
But the 5th they gave up is in this years draft: Fowler came and went before the Rams even had to make that payment ...
