As an individual, certainly.
But for our leaders? Absolutely not. They should be relaying information as we have it and learn it and setting the course ahead for all of us instead of panicking.
I believe it's a social media adjustment we all will make over time. Social media is so instant and spans so many people that it can take on a life of its own and it magnifies overreactions. Just like people needed to learn the importance of allowing the justice system to condemn criminals instead of a lynch mob, I think we'll end up at some point having a better feel for it and that hard polarization we see with everything will lessen over time.
