There is only one place where the majority of agents and GMs and coaches are all present at the same time. It's the combine. And nothing else.
You focussing on just one player does not belie that. There are a couple thousand players and agents and they all mingle with GMs and coaches only one time at only one place.
Plus of course there's the GMs and coaches of different teams all talking to each other.
Go back through recent Rams history and notice how many times the Rams mention some decision or other starting out from something that happened at the combine.
