He reminds me a bit of Mannion way back when. Big and not a great mover, but can make all the throws and is resilient too. His biggest drawback to my eye, like Mannion, is any sort of pressure or OL breakdown seems to screw his timing. Not a lot of throws/decisions where he makes them with a threat coming.
But yeah I think he's in that group of late round options the Rams might consider. Agreed that the guy is smart going to Princeton.
Oh and btw I think the Patriots will be looking at the same types, guys like this dude and Morgan along with a few others. I just have a feeling with Morgan similar to what I had last year when I looked at Minshew and Wilkins. IMO having a developing QB behind Goff not only helps us in the near term but also might prove critical in the unlikely event he regresses. More talent there to absorb the fine offensive coaching the QB position gets basically.
