Blinkscout pre combine thoughts ...

Haven' seen a draft like this ...

The grades are all over the map. Anyone not in the top 15-20 Ive seen anywhere from the 2nd to 5th round ... and later.

The skilled evaluator/draft room could come out with a king's bounty pretty easily. I'd be likely to be looking at trading for more picks either using next year's capital or trading back earlier ...

The combine should shake some stuff out for the top 50, but it still leaves a lot of CLOSE grades on MANY interior linemen and WRs and RBs ...

From the initial weigh ins there are a few notables ...

Chase Claypool is 6-4 238. That's big.
Denzel Mims has 34.25 inch arms ... that explains the 90% chance on 50/50 balls ... there's no way to gauge from his 6-3 frame that his arms are going to be that long.
Cager has tiny hands ... hance the drops in his career ... 8.5 inch is tiny on a 6-5 dude.
Antonio Gibson is the RB in with the WRs. 6-0 228. Totally think he's David Johnson.
Joe Reed of UVA ...KR and great WR ... 6-0 224.
Laviska Chenault weighed in at "Anquon Boldin" 6-1 227. He's a faster Anquon Boldin.
Oh and jalen Reagor got his weight up to 208? When? He was 195 soaking wet last I checked ...

Ben Bartch had shorter arms than I like ... 33.5 ... that usually means he can't play the left side ... but if his movement skills are plus ... with a 6-6 frame he may be able to. Trey Adams had arms under 34 too (6-8, though). Heck was 6-8, too, 34.25 ... Alex Taylor 6-8 311 36.5 inch arms, 11.5 inch hands... small school kid. Matt Peart 6-7 and 35 and 3/4 ...
Andrew Thomas should go to the giants with 36.5 inch arms ...
Mekhi Becton really is 364 pounds.
Robert Hunt looks like a prime candidate for OG in our system ... 6-5 323 with OT movement skills ... 34 inch arms and 10.5 inch heavy hands.
Josh Jones arms were 33 7/8 ... so he's likely off a few boards for OT ... could slide to 52?

AJ Dillon at 6-0 248. Yo. Can he run at that weight? Maybe I don't care lol.
Edwards Helaire was short at 5-7 206 but could be a MJD clone.
Everyone else came in where I expected. Pretty normal range.

Cole Kmet (who I predicted in September would be the first TE off the board) came in at 6-6 262. That's a big versatile man, right there.
Al O came in at 258 and will run like a scalded dog I imagine ...
Trautman was 6-5 255.
They should be the top 3 off ...

Stephen Sullivan is my target for later rounds ... 6-5 248 ... 35.5 inch arms, ex WR. If he runs well we won't have a shot at him.
Sleeper is Jacob Breeland, missed most of the year with an injury but would have been in the conversation for the 3rd round area ... 6-5 252.

Anyway, Ill be posting when I can over the weekend or jumping in on other posts

Thoughts and questions welcome
