The Rams won the fall Ramsey sweepstakes with 2 #1s and a #4. No other team was willing to go that high.
And now he has half a year less on his contract. I.e. less value. So why would another team be willing to bid more now than they were in the fall when he has less value due to his contract?
Answer: they won't.
So for anyone saying that we should entertain trade offers now is essentially saying that they need to admit trading for him was a mistake and they will have to be fine with taking a loss in draft comp.
Add that to how McVay talks about it as Ramsey being this years first pick in a sense....Rams are happy to have him and like you said no one is going to offer up two first for him now, but you never know.
