Goff frees up $16 millions with a restructure and Ramsey frees another $3 million with extension putting the Rams at around $45 million
The Rams may very well cut Malcolm Brown (if they draft a RB as insurance for Gurley) and they might trade Havs which has been speculated to free another $5 million...so there you are around $51 million....who knows they might cut Matthews too if they need extra cash so that would hit the $55 million mark
Remember the cap is also projected to go up too.....so that too will also create some space. I am not saying I agree with everything proposed or the numbers are accurate, but it easily doable as a Goff restructure is a no brainer and the Rams mentioned they want to extend Ramsey upon the trade.
Brown and Matthews are not core players and who knows about Havs...to me that is a tricky one. If he was hurt they might keep him, but Evans played much better at a fraction of the cost.
