But then there are a lot of considerations to this. As per another discussion, in order to do a "take our cap hit" type trade, with Gurley, since the new team takes on so much in terms of cap liability, the Rams would have to give up a fairly high pick. Just guessing but from the looks of it, at least a #2 or a #3.

If it plays out that way...which is what it sounds like...then you have to ask, is 4.6 M in cap space worth giving up a 2nd or 3rd round pick?

My answer is no, I don't want to loose a pick or anything else like that....I use him like the last five games of last year, he averaged 17+ carries a game equating to 62 yds per game.

Share the rest of the carry load with who ever steps up as RB#2....

We were 9-7 last year, considering a good part of the year there were Oline issues.
