I wanted to jump on Ford last year instead of dropping down. I also would have preferred J Taylor. I wasn't big on McCoy though and I was wrong about that.
This year I would lean towards drafting a Center or Guard with our first pick unless someone
significantly better was available. With our limited picks it is difficult to suggest taking two linemen with our first two picks, so I will not do that. Nor do I think we will or should go out and sign a Scherff or similar free agent. I think we will have a new stud rookie Center and maybe pick up a vet that is a cap casualty that still has something in the tank. I do not foresee any trades, or splashy free agents. I think it will be Whit at LT, a rookie Center, Hav at RT and the rest will fight it out for Guard positions. I would not complain at all if they drafted o line with first two picks but I feel it is unrealistic. Im just not seeing a lot of great solutions, but other teams have figured it out, so hopefully we can as well.
