Edwards fell in the draft because he played hurt in 2018.
Before the season, in early draft ranking stuff, he was always ranked as a 1st or 2nd rounder. He was ranked several times as a top 50 pick overall in the draft.
The Rams said they made sure to watch his film from 2017, which was the season that got him so highly ranked before the 2018 season started.
Playing hurt cost him.
