Offensive assistant is kind of entry level.

To say senior offensive assistant is just a high rank within a low rank.

So let's say in a store the pecking order is manager, assistant manager, and cashier.

Calling someone a senior cashier doesn't raise them in the hierarchy. They're still below assistant manager.

An offensive assistant is below a position coach and then also below a run or pass game coordinator which is also below a coordinator.

Calling someone a senior offensive assistant does not raise them above a position coach.
