In 2021 if Havenstein is cut there is $1,600,000 in Dead Money and $5,950,000 of Cap Savings. [
overthecap.com] That seems like a realistic option if Havenstein continues to struggle.
If they cut him now...

Despite the great need for the starters on the Oline and Kromer cross-training G/Ts Havenstein gives the impression that RT is his best position. (If he could play Guard that would help.) If Bobby Evans continues as the starter at RT maybe Havenstein is the third tackle for a year. Maybe Evans slides to LT if there is an LT injury and Havenstein comes in as the RT.
If his poor play was the result of an injury and he returns to be a productive starter than that is the best-case scenario. If not I bet the Rams keep him one more year as depth then cut him.
