If you read my initial post, I NEVER stated Kupp, JJ and Higgle were not studs. I was only disputing the idea that the Rams were superior to other teams at finding mid rd gems. I even wrote the following, "So in the past 5 years these mid rd gems are Kupp, Higbee, JJ." Im not saying Kupp is not a stud. He is very good, but all of the other teams draft comparable players. See Tye Hill, Alvin Kamara, Gallup, Dak, Hunt, Hunter, DK, Kittle, and on and on.....I would not say JJ and Higbee are studs though. They are ok to good players. But again, all teams find guys like that in mid rounds. Rams are nothing special at finding mid rd gems like you claim. You all demanded examples and I listed a bunch that back up my case but you still claim I'm biased? Don't ask me to prove if you're gonna ignore the data.
No you did not prove that the Rams hit percentage in mid rounds is the same as other teams. To do that you would need a percentage standard that the Rams either met or failed to meet. You didn't provide "data"--for that you need PERCENTAGES. Otherwise all you showed that OTHER teams have good mid-round picks too, which no one disagrees with.
And btw the national perception of JJ is that he is a find and a stud. Absolutely. Same with HIgbee, as of this year, since he set Rams records for TE yards and receptions.
So. Saying other teams find guys too is not the same as proving a standard was not met. For that you need percentages. And sites that do this for a living regularly list the Rams as top 10 in drafting, as Albany showed.
You certainly can have the opinion that in spite of the stuff Albany posted the Rams are not even average in mid-round drafting. But you're claiming it as a fact, and that's a different story. For it to pass muster as a fact claim, you would have to prove they do not meet a standard. Again--percentages.
If you just hold the opinion, as opposed to claiming it as a fact, then, we can all agree to disagree, no problem.
